Colyton, Devon
Colyton the most Rebellious town
in Devon has a rich and varied
and sometimes bloody history. Fortunately
things are much quieter now, and a
trip to Colyton will be enjoyed by all.
Colyton is a small town full of narrow
streets and thatched cottages, dominated
by the octagonal Church Tower.
Many visitors arrive aboard an open
top tram from Seaton. It is then
a short walk into Colyton. The Colyton
Wagon Wanderer, pulled by beautiful Suffolk
Punches, will take you from the tram
terminus, past the river Coly to the
town and set you beside the Church. You
then will be free to explore Colyton,
its pretty streets, Church and Shops.
